A Mountain Forms Owners’ own home, underwent a complete interior renovation. The Mountain Forms team was responsible for all design, project management and construction. The design package included a full set of drafted plans and elevations, material and finish selection as well as furnishings. The design brief referenced soft modern minimalism blended with the traditional style of the existing home, inspired by the manner in which Italian design effortless blends the modern and the old world.

The existing home had a lovely and cohesive palate of wood throughout, and the interior doors as well as much of the millwork was preserved and re-finished, serving as a basis for the color palate of the new design.  Due to the tight project timeline, new cabinetry was crafted on site and designed to complement the existing.  Another major design element was the addition of significant areas of stone slab work, for which the team chose two variations of Calcatta marble to use throughout the home.  Our design package included detailed slab layouts and we worked closely with the factricators to achieve the look.
