Mountain Forms is a boutique design/build business focused on crafting beautiful residential homes, both ground-up and remodels. We offer end to end in-house design services and are focused on bringing excellence to your project.

Owners Josh Bryer and Jorge Duarte both have planted roots in the Wood River Valley and share a love for the place, which translates into our work.  Josh focuses on design, client + project management and high level finish oversight, and Jorge is focused on all aspects of construction.

Josh Bryer and his family have lived in the Valley full-time for 5 years, after having fallen in love with it. Like many stories here, they came with the intention of staying for a while and decided the better idea was just to never leave. A lifelong architecture and design nerd, Josh was previously a 20+ year veteran of the film industry, spent time as a Technical Creative and Company Executive in the Visual Effects industry, creating CGI for large budget Hollywood and International projects. While pursuing his career, he also worked on construction and design related projects as a passion on the side.  Several years after moving, he decided focus his career 100% locally on construction and real estate development.  Josh has a BA in Histrory of Architecture from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jorge Duarte has called the Wood River Valley home since 2012. Raised in Chihuahua State in Mexico, Jorge grew up on a rural ranch and loves the quiet calm of Idaho. A true lifelong entrepreneur, Jorge spent years working for many respected local builders first as a tradesman and later Project Supervisor, on a range of projects including many high-end ground up home builds throughout the Valley. Before partnering on Mountain Forms, he has been running his own successful contracting business locally. Jorge has a deep network of local contacts and significant understanding of the process across all trades.
